He makes a point

My Mom is getting a new puppy. My boys are super excited about it--although, being the sensible boy that he is, my youngest has a very important concern.

#3: I don't know why Momo [my mother's grandmotherly name] even wants a new dog. . .Why would anyone want TWO dogs? That's just crazy. I mean, puppy dogs always poop.

#2: That's not crazy. Dogs poop, but people poop, too. So, is Mom crazy?
